.. hey guys.. I’ve been having fun for a couple of days now, configuring my own Rainmeter skin..
Rainmeter displays customizable skins, like memory and battery power, RSS feeds and weather forecasts, right on your desktop. Many skins are even functional: they can record your notes and to-do lists, launch your favorite applications, and control your media player – all in a clean, unobtrusive interface that you can rearrange and customize to your liking. Rainmeter is at once an application and a toolkit. You are only limited by your imagination and creativity.
.. basically, it’s an opensource visual effects tool – and about damn time, too – that allows you to really tweak you Windows OS, so that it suits your needs.. or not..
.. the official web page also recommends some skin suites..just to check out the power of rainmeter.. it’s a nice way to get used to the multimple possibilities and configurations available to you.. here’s my first try..
.. had a little bit of fun with the snake game, in the top left corner of the screen.. couldn’t resist.. I gotta admit, it’s time consuming.. choosing your widget, configuring, choosing colors, placement.. even more time consuming is browsing through the widgets and skins available for download on DevianART.. but, if you’re a freak – like me – it will be fun.. and rewarding..
.. finally, after tweaing the Windows color scheme, and firefox add-ons.. choosing my already known wallpaper and avatar, Ive come up with this..
.. I’m happy with it.. creat you own.. have fun.. later..
